Older Adults Excoursion Tour as a Specific Form of Education

This bachelor thesis focuses on the (sightseeing) tour for older adults as the specific form of education. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter the main theme of this thesis is set into the context of demographical ageing and silver economy. Following two chapters focus on the specifics of older adults that are important for participation on tour for older adults. Simultaneously these chapters are focused on educational aspect to subsume the sightseeing tour into forms of adult education. Another part presents the specifics of the sightseeing tour for older adults in accordance with senior tourism. It is followed by analysis of the tour for older adults which are offered by travel agencies in the Czech Republic, which verifies a validity of theoretical knowledge about specifics of older adults presented in previous chapters. Sightseeing Tours - the Analysis of Transport and Accommodation Solutions

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of transport and accommodation facilities from the random selection of sightseeing tours of more or less important travel agencies. In the first part there are defined various concepts related to the topic which are used in two ways, the analysis, and creation of own sightseeing tour. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create an analysis, and define the most frequently used accommodation, type of transport and related overall sightseeing tour. Another aim is to create an unique tour for the Slovak Republic, because Slovakia is very attractive country for tourists. It has a rich representation of different cultural, historical and natural sights which are worth visiting. The tour is interesting because of connections with hiking, cruises along the rivers and visiting various cultural sites.

Analysis of the supply of sightseeing tours in a selected city in the Czech Republic (Znojmo)

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the current supply of sightseeing tours in Znojmo as well as creating a unified set of tours, which could be helpful in practice. The theoretical part deals with the terminology of tourism. In this thesis a sightseeing tour is defined and the participant of tourism is classified as a main holder of demand. The thesis introduces the city Znojmo in general. The analytical part characterizes a typical visitor of Znojmo and their most demanded objects in the city. The analysis of the supply of sightseeing tours provided by two agencies is made. Results from both analyses are compared and evaluated in the end of the thesis.

Analysis of the offer of sightseeing tours in a selected city in the Czech Republic (Česká Skalice)

The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of tourism and sightseeing tours in the town Česká Skalice. The theoretical part defines basic notions and the town potential in the field of tourism (its characteristics, history and tourist attractions of the town). The practical part gives information about institutions acting in tourism in Česká Skalice and evaluates their projects which are involved in walking tours of the town. It also includes analysis of visitors to the town, the services provided, the promotional materials and the evaluation of main walking routes (especially heritage trail of "Grandmother's valley and "City Walk"). Based on results of analysis the town potential and its utilisation is evaluated with regard to the structure of demand and a focus on suggestions and recommendations for improvement of current situation of walking routes in Česká Skalice.

Suggestion of sightseeing tours in the selected city in the Czech Republic (Mladá Boleslav)

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a coherent set of tours for visitors to the town Mladá Boleslav. The theoretical part of this study deals with potential in the tourism industry (general charakteristics, history and tourist attractions of the city) and with theme of urban tourism. In the analytical part is elaborated extensive analysis of city traffic and services associated with routes. The main point of the bachelor thesis is proposing of sighseeing tours, which are based on results of analysis. Part of this thesis is the design of promotional materials created for the routes. These promotional materials will be a comprehensive tourism product.
